course is around 300m height. So u can see Taiwan strait in some holes. Strong wind in winter. Green is really good, but slope is big and speed is fast. Very challenge green if you cannot do putt well.

Very high CP value. A great course. The restaurant is also very nice, with lots of traditional Hakka food. A great place to golf and eat at northern Taiwan. Close to Taipei with only 1 hour drive.

First thoughts when invited to play at Tsai Hsing was A) it’s far from Taipei and B) if I’m going to go all the way out there, might as well play Sunrise CC (one of my favorites). Now that I’ve finally played THE Club, I have to say I’m impressed. Condition is better than I thought. Don’t let the yellowish fairways fool you, they still play true. Greens are in good shape and rolling faster than you think. Overall, I’d come back again for sure BUT maybe after they’re done renovating those two holes. When I played, they cut a par 5 into a par 3 and par 4 and a hole in back nine in order to perform maintenance on those two holes. So be warned.

One of the top courses in Taiwan. Scenic and well maintained. The cafe by the 12th hole is itself good looking and offers great view. Shower stalls are clean (and recently renovated?) The towels have seen better days and should be replaced with new ones.
