It’s a beautiful place worth spend half day enjoy slow life with. Building itself is a old style historical architecture, there are illustrations of what is was long time ago. There is a weekend market for you to get traditional food, even to try the DIY. Also, there is a pond of beautiful lotus behind the building. A coffee shop also serves you hand made drink. Enjoy it.

A traditional Hakka building~ This area had been protected by government. You can come here to see Hakka building and culture. Also, you can go to the book store and you can read the book leisurely. If you are lucky, you can see the cajon show.

A great place to immerse yourself in Hakka architecture. I love the brick houses. They are so cool and comfortable inside.

The area wasn't open when I walked passed it. The shops have varied times and it appears the earliest open at 9am. Beautiful lotus pond and walking path. Love traditional setting the shops take. Public restrooms are available

Actually, it should not be named "district". It's just a small area with some ancient hakka houses. A little bit disappoint. Any how, it still be cherished as a natural and cultural heritage area. Suitable for a weekend walk in a vibrant city of Hsinchu.
