Nice little walk down the side of rice fields and mountains. Ends at 3.5km where the road closes then I turned around and walked back. Took me about 1h30 in total. Also a little cafe at the beginning of the path, so can head there on the way back (called cafe de coin).

Wow! Such an amazing trail. Super easy to bike and the view is just stunning! Around 10km per one way.

Great biking trail, almost all flat, that runs from the front of the Yuli train station to the Dongli Station (former train station, now a cafe), for about 10km. It is a bike-only path away from the road, with only a few roads crossings, going across the river and then along the rice field. When we cycled there in Dec 2022, the bike bridge over the Yuli river was closed (it was damaged), so we took the adjoining car bridge and then went back on the bike trail. There are plenty of bike shops who rent bikes of all sorts in front and around the Yuli train station. We paid NT150 for a basic bike for unlimited use.
