I love this place. Got there around midday and had the whole outdoor hot spring to ourselves. We also tried the private/personal bath but the outdoor is the best. The bathroom/change room is old but clean. Toilet were squat ones (not a fan) but overall this hot spring place is pretty relaxing and a must try. $350NTW per person but you can use all their hot spring facility.

The hotel is a jewel far away from a big city. The therapeutic properties of the hot spring water are, unfortunately, still unknown. Enjoy not a lavish dinner, but hearty home cooking. Very friendly staff. I hope there are more options in transportation to get there. Very close to the harbor where you can get the best from the catch of the day. The best seafood I had ever experience in Taiwan. Yet the prices were a bargain. Unbelievable.

The hot spring and hotel were a nice stop on our road trip. The room in the hotel was a bit old (though clean). The bathroom could be cleaner-looking. But since they get their hot water from the spring, a bit of mineral deposit couldn't be helped. There's a choice of using the open-air hot spring pools or the ones indoor. Since we thought the January weather in Taiwan to be balmy, we stayed in the outdoor area. There's a choice between the hottest pool, a warm pool, and a cold pool and there are slides going into the warm and cold pools. Some of the spa features we couldn't figure out how to get to work. But overall, nothing beats a good outdoor soaking after a long drive!

First of all: if you are looking for the free hot spring, search "安通露天野溪溫泉". __ There are other hot springs in this hotel for a fee.The facility was rather old but with lots of small pools with different temperatures and different amount of sulphur. The price was 350 NT$ for the whole day. A swimming cap is compulsory (it can be purchased at the reception for 50 NT$). If you want a small locker for your valuables, an additional 10 NT$ are charged + 100 NT$ as deposit. Naked bathing is possible in private baths at any time (they are relatively large, so you can go in with two people), or in the Japanese pool after 14:00. The receptionists did not speak English, so we communicated via Google Translate. __ This area has many hot springs. There is another one called "Yu Hot Spring 玉溫泉" a bit further down. There, they charge 200 NT$ for the day. I believe that one had a fewer selection of pools. It has a lot of private pools for 1 or 2 persons. __ Please note that the buses run at different hours than indicated by Google Maps! See the timetables for buses 8181 and 309 from Yuli attached.

Good facilities for spa relaxation. Enough pools to explore and dip. They have onsen facility too. We were on a cycling trip and needed to soak in hot spring recuperation. Everything was good but the bed was a let down.Both me and boy got had bed bug bites over the night! Not acceptable for a hotspring resort! I would give 4.5 stars if they clear the bed bugs.
