Went here for a class field trip. This location is the pineapple capital of Kaoshuing. We learn how to make our own pineapple cake and also went to pick our own pineapples to take home. A nice learning experience on getting to know their culture and history. I wish they had a small boutique that sold their pastry.

One of Taiwan's largest pineapple producing areas, this charming little town is full of local stories. Even the name of the place itself is a unique attraction. The locals are very united, and the village chief is principled and persistent. However, the aging society still casts a shadow of optimism.

The community is quite large, and there are many attractions to visit, including Lombok Well and Lombok Elementary School. The paths between the communities are also quite extensive. You could easily spend 2-3 hours exploring the entire area.
