The historical trails were a great place to visit on the last day before the visitor limits were implemented. It showcased a harmonious coexistence between people and nature and was definitely worth a trip! Detailed information is available in the photos.

🔹Transportation Information📢 Driving is not possible. It's recommended to take an Uber or bus. Buses 501 and 502 stop at the Ziqiang Tunnel entrance. There's no parking, so there are relatively few visitors. 🔹Simple Experience Sharing✍️ Officially opened to the public on December 12, 2025. Be aware that the natural puddles at the tunnel entrance are slippery. The walk takes about 10 minutes. Afterwards, continue straight and turn left uphill for a moderately difficult climb. Elderly visitors should be careful and walk slowly. There are seats and rest areas at the viewing platform, but the view is limited due to the dense foliage. 👀 🔹OS Sharing⚠️⚠️⚠️ The main reason for the high temperature is the perceived heat. It's not recommended to make a special trip during the summer months (May-September) as there are many bees and mosquitoes on the trail. Bring mosquito repellent. The dense foliage makes it feel slightly stuffy and stuffy. The steps are only wide enough for one person at a time, so be considerate of other visitors. Bring water to stay hydrated and avoid heatstroke! 🔹Information Sharing Public restrooms and handwashing stations are available at the tunnel entrance, as well as an information station. No trash cans are provided; please respect the forest environment. Please keep your voice down inside the tunnel to protect the bat habitat.

It's definitely worth a visit after its reopening! ✨ The tunnel is 235 meters long, and different construction methods were used to adapt to different geological conditions, allowing you to appreciate the impressive engineering technology of the Qing Dynasty and the hardships of its excavation. The red brick wall at the south entrance and the inscription "Kuangyu Tiankai" (meaning "Open Sky and Vast Universe") create a rich historical atmosphere, perfect for taking photos. 📸 🦇 Bat Ecology The tunnel is cool and slightly mysterious; if you're lucky, you might even see bats hanging upside down from the ceiling. 🪨 To protect them, please remember not to make loud noises or use flash photography. There really are bats. Please don't make noise and speak softly. You can take pictures, but please don't use flash. Otherwise, if they can't stand the disturbance and migrate away, no one will be able to see them in the future.
