Ta-Pu colonial settlement having a lot of rocky houses serves for accomodations and restaurants. Standing on the headland viewing platform of Ta-Pu settlement, it has a wide field of vision and is the best scenic spot for viewing Lin'ao islet. Go northeast along Ta-Pu Road, you will reach the newly opened Dongyang Mountain Trail, Dongyang Mountain Trail, the best of Ma-Tzu trails.

The tranquil and harmonious ancient village, rebuilt on its original site, is a perfect place to slow down, relax, and stroll through, appreciating the serenity and natural beauty of the ancient fishing village, as well as the historical and cultural imprints left behind by the original fishing village in the bay during the era of the conflict between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party!
