Hiking along the Datong Mountain and Dadong Mountain trails from Taichung, you'll pass the Fude Temple and see an indoor cold spring swimming pool. Next to the pool is a spacious indoor karaoke room. While hiking, head to the Zhongxiao Mausoleum in the Tiancai Memorial Park on the hillside above the Land God Temple to admire its design and scale. The large viewing platform offers panoramic views of the lush greenery below. The Land God Temple's plaza below the hillside is quite large, serving as a gathering place for visitors before climbing and a rest area after descending. It's also likely a popular spot for locals to exercise or practice in the mornings and evenings. However, getting to the Fude Temple requires traversing a winding and steep path from Da'an Road in the city below.

Driving requires taking the Huilong route. The mountain road is relatively narrow, so be careful when passing other vehicles. Once you get to the top, the road widens and passing becomes easier. Vehicles can drive on the right side of Fude Temple, while the left side is a pedestrian walkway with about 60 steps. The plaza is spacious with a wide view and lush greenery. On the right side, there is an indoor hot spring pool, attracting a constant stream of visitors.

There are many routes leading up to Nanliao Fude Palace, which leads directly to Datong Mountain. There are also many scenic spots and temples nearby for worship. Cars can drive directly up, and there is a parking lot nearby.
