Very lovely old town. It was quite and relaxing with bunch of different souvenir shops and food. It is a perfect place to enjoy a good morning, lunch, afternoon tea and even dinner. The whole place had many decorations. You will be surprised by what will show up in the next corner.

It was my first visit this village. Its not crowded as I though and most of the restaurants were closed since it was after long holiday. Most of the shop have the pretty and unique styles of decorations. The traffic lights in Pingtung is impressive 💡

I love wandering about this area. It's steeped in history and full of treasures... lush green gardens, beautiful bookshops, places to drink tea, eat pudding and watch the world go by.

I like this place once I saw it while driving by. You can see lots of art paintings on the walls, in the alleys or some other corners, which you have to find them yourself. It’ll be like a process of finding treasures which would be fun. Good place for family, friends, couples, or yourself to come for a walk. :)

Most of the open stores here are food restaurants which you can’t even walk in unless you patronise them. Other stores sell trinkets or snacks so a very commercialised place. Many stores were also not opened. There is a site that is not fully restored so you can take pictures of the original state.
