The village is small and usually very quiet. Eagles can be seen circling overhead. Park your car next to the mushroom-shaped toilet. The artworks within the village are quite impressive. A stroll around takes about an hour. I'd like to take a guided tour to learn more about the village.

The village has many colorful murals, many of which show signs of age, but they still look nice. There are quite a few dogs and cats in the village, and the dogs were very friendly. I didn't have time to finish the Meiren Mountain Trail this time, but I'll do it next time. The most beautiful thing, in my opinion, was the shiitake mushrooms. (Photo taken on September 21, 2019)

An-po aboriginal tribe day trip in Pingtung. #GoAroundAnPoTribe #Secret place making bamboo toys #DIY Paiwan transitional food - Zu-lu-k #Paiwan buffet lunch #Handmade toys playing #Traditional Paiwan clothes experience #Grouptrip to the tribe #AnPoChildrensPlayingKingdom I've passed through San Di Men so many times, but I never knew this place existed! Another hidden tribe! Upon getting off the bus, I saw mushrooms straight out of a fairy tale 🍄 and adorable toilets! Our leader, Brother Jiang Zongyou, greeted us and sang a Paiwan welcome song. Brother Zongyou said, "Every place needs fools like him for it to have a chance for sustainable development." The itinerary was slightly adjusted due to the weather. First stop - #Anpo Tribal Cultural Guide Wandering through the streets and alleys of the Anpo tribe, nestled against the beautiful mountain, we listened to Brother Zongyou tell stories of every corner of the tribe. There was a library sponsored by Bae Yong-joon, the person who often eats fake groundcherry leaves in Ginafuli, and even a bank selling tribal food. Brother Zongyou's guide was incredibly lively and interesting; he casually picked up a fern and made a wreath. Anpo is indeed tiny and can be explored in a short time, but without a guide, much of the enjoyment would be lost. The second stop - #DarafuSecretRealm Our guide, Zongzuo (Zongyou's twin brother), led us to the secret realm. The signs along the way were adorable. After a ten-minute walk, we arrived at what truly was a stunning secret realm! We made children's toys there; the kids made bamboo water guns 🔫, and he taught us adults how to make bamboo torches and light them to pay homage to our ancestors. The third stop - Paiwan traditional snack #Chuluk Chuluk is a dish traditionally made only for celebrations or when distinguished guests visit. After the secret realm visit, we worked together to pound glutinous rice into fragrant, chewy Chuluk using a mortar and pestle passed down for over a decade. It was really difficult to pound! Professionals really make a difference! The glutinous rice dough, pounded while still hot, is divided into small pieces and coated with peanut powder – it's done! The aroma of glutinous rice is amazing, and it's incredibly chewy. Fourth Stop - Paiwan Traditional Cuisine We ate our fill of the abundant Paiwan cuisine, including millet cakes, pumpkin cakes, moon peach dumplings, and tree bean and pork rib soup. Fifth Stop - Children's Play Experience/Traditional Costume Experience Anpo also has 3C (mountain stream) products, all made with natural materials from the mountains and streams. #YinhuaSui #HundredPlaySet A super cool set of bamboo toys with seven ways to play! There are also bamboo dragonflies, bamboo stilts, chieftain's exclusive children's toys, and ring toss. Adults and children alike had a blast! It truly lives up to its name as the "Kingdom of Children's Play"! The traditional costume experience was also fantastic! It was my first time wearing traditional ethnic costumes. The handmade craftsmanship was incredibly exquisite, and the accessories were intricate. But once you removed the accessories, the costume felt so light and easy to wear! Both the accessories and the traditional clothing were incredibly heavy – the price of beauty! It was truly a rare experience; it's very uncommon to wear such complete traditional clothing at outdoor activities. Everyone was reluctant to leave after having so much fun! On the way back, the heavy rain gradually cleared up. Don't worry about not finding anyone! Anpo Children's Play Kingdom Tribal Experience Camp offers group tours every Saturday – just come and join! 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Groups of 10 or more can inquire about other times). Includes expert-led tours, fresh seasonal fruit picking (or DIY food), authentic cuisine, children's toy making experience, and insurance. Please contact the Pingtung County Indigenous Arts and Culture Industry Alliance Promotion Association.

Here you'll find the tranquility and beauty of a tribal village, stone houses, beautiful totems, and unique public restrooms. Parking is easy, it's great for taking photos, and it's an educational place. Instagrammers can come here for pictures. Parking is convenient, there's no urban smog, no concrete jungle – it's incredibly peaceful! Unfortunately, the public restrooms aren't very clean, and some buildings are in disrepair. It's truly a pity.
