We were interested in visiting this place because we wanted to see Taitung’s seaside area. It took us about 45 minutes by bicycle from the center of Taitung, following a dedicated bike lane along a major road, which made us feel safe throughout the ride. The wind here is very strong, likely because of the surrounding mountains. We didn’t get to experience the seawater itself, as the area is fenced off, possibly for safety reasons. There are plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the fresh sea breeze. It’s also a nice place for a picnic if you bring some snacks. The area is clean, and the toilets are very well maintained too.

This place is just off the High Road and offers scenic view of the sea and nice space to sit in the shade. Oh yes and toilets!!! Good space to let the kids run around not many people.

The ocean view is amazing here. When I saw the sea view, my pressure was reduced! However, if you would like to visit the place, I suggest to wear a coat since the wind is strong here.

Amazing oceanside view. Great mountains, rocky beach, high clouds, and blue sky and pacific ocean. You can see the "Green Island" in the farside horizon in a good-seeing day. A big parking area and public toilet are here.
